My mother had to be around 29 years old in this picture. I don’t recall the day we took these Easter Sunday pictures, however I do remember this apartment we stayed in on the southside of Chicago. The dark wood trim, brick fire place, original crown molding and the green blinds my mom and auntie installed, I fell in love with that place. Even after we move those green blinds filled the windows for years. We would drive by every so often to check if they were still there. ..
